Residents of Keith asked how the town could improve active travel

Keith residents are being asked to help Moray Council come up with ideas on how to improve active travel in the city. The authority’s active travel team is looking for ideas from the local community on how to spend £25,000 on cycle parking, cycle shelters and repair stations in and around the town. Locals have until 12pm on Friday, April 28 to submit ideas for the types of bicycle stands, cycle shelters and repair stations the community would like to see. Determined Aberdeen schoolgirl, 9, joins fight to save Ferryhill Library

For nine-year-old Charlotte Jolly, her local library is a “nice and quiet” place where she can enjoy reading her favorite books in peace. Ferryhill Library has been an integral part of her life ever since she was a little girl and would often visit it with her nursery, eager to grab a book from the stacked shelves. University of Alberta loses U Sports final to New Brunswick Reds

CHARLOTTETOWN – The University of New Brunswick Reds are the new golden boys of U Sports men’s hockey. The Reds defeated the Alberta Golden Bears 3-0 on Sunday in the championship final of the eight-team tourney at the Eastlink Centre. Cody Morgan, Cole Mackay and Austen Keating scored for the Reds, while Samuel Richard stopped 17 shots for the shutout. Morgan, named the game’s top star, also added an assist. The 2023 National Wheelchair Curling Championships kicked off on Monday afternoon at the Moose Jaw Curling Center with all 12 teams getting into action. Both Saskatchewan teams finished the day 1-1.
