Suara.com – The good news that should not be missed, the Ministry of Health or the Ministry of Health announced that the general public can already have a second booster vaccine or fourth dose of Covid-19 vaccination.
This policy was conveyed directly by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, dr. Syahril, that this second booster vaccine can be carried out in all Covid-19 vaccination services, and can only be done if it has been 6 months or more since receiving the first booster vaccine.
“We appeal to people who have not been vaccinated or whose vaccinations have not been complete, to complete them as soon as possible. Don’t delay and don’t be picky about vaccines, because the best vaccination is a vaccination that is done right now,” said dr. Muhammad Syahril via information received by suara.com, Saturday (21/1/2023).

Even this second booster vaccine can be obtained by the public without the need to wait to get a fourth dose vaccine ticket. This is because it is intended to increase the protection or protection of the Indonesian people from Covid-19.

“In the next one to two weeks, people over 18 years of age will get a second booster vaccine without waiting for tickets or invitations. Recording is still being done manually while waiting for p-care and care for protection to be prepared,” explained dr. Syahril.
This rule is contained in Circular Letter Number HK.02.02/C/380/2023 Concerning the 2nd Booster Dose of COVID-19 Vaccination for the General Public, which was stipulated by the Director General of Disease Prevention and Control on 20 January 2023.
The second booster dose of COVID-19 vaccination can be given to all the general public or aged 18 years and over, starting January 24, 2023.
