A national anthem standoff between Boston Red Sox reliever Kutter Crawford and Philadelphia Phillies left-hander Matt Strahm not only resulted in an ejection, MLB has fined them as well. There have been standoffs in the past in multiple sports, with players wanting to be the last one off the field, court or ice following the anthem. Waitrose to open the first Aberdeen store this summer

Waitrose is to open a food hall in Aberdeen this summer, ending years of a wait for the giant supermarket to arrive in the Granite City. The partnership between Dobbies, on the city’s Lang Stracht and the luxury chain means around 2,000 products will be available across the store. It is expected to open in June with work on-going at the moment to get it ready for unveiling. The food hall is currently stocked with Sainsbury’s products.
