We were headed, I soon learned, to Siasconset (commonly referred to as ‘Sconset). Located on the japanese side of the island, with a year-round population of less than a hundred, this former fishing village is a warren of grassy paths that cross Travel & Leasuire News between photogenic cottages and gardens bursting with roses and dahlias.
