Maid of Glencoul ferry returns to service at the Corran Narrows

The Maid of Glencoul ferry has returned to service at the Corran Narrows following a mechanical breakdown. Operators of the Corran ferry were forced to reduce crossings to foot passengers last week after the vessel developed a fault with its steering system. Specialist engineers were drafted in on June 28 to complete the necessary repairs on the ferry as customers braced for further disruption. CNN — Shohei Ohtani continued his incredible run of form as the Los Angeles Angels two-way star hit the biggest home run of the MLB season so far. In the Angels’ 6-2 home loss against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday, Ohtani hit a huge homer to deep right field which has been recorded by Statcast as going a projected 493 feet.
