Monaco prepares to host a prestigious convention

After a one-year hiatus due to the impact of COVID-19, the world-renowned sports media and tech convention, SPORTEL, returns to host its annual event in Monaco.

The conference will take place between the 5th-7th October and will welcome a host of global, cutting edge names from across the industry.

It will be the first 2021 international convention 100% live and in person to reconnect and reunite international sports media and technology, in a time where rebuilding and reshaping the industry for the future is pivotal.

Alongside many new actors in the industry, SPORTEL will welcome numerous long-standing exhibitors and visitors, such as LaLiga, Matchroom, Eurosport, FeedConstruct, Eurovision and ITF.

This year’s market promises to be more European. However, some of the world’s leading brands from the Americas are confirmed to attend in person, including Endeavor, DirectTV Latin America, ESPN, Fox Sports, Major League Baseball.

Over the course of three days, businesses will have the opportunity to interview, network and engage with world-leading sports content media rights holders and technology experts, giving them unprecedented access to some of the brightest minds and most informative masterclasses.

Among others, masterclasses at the conference will include: Cultivating crossover between Esports and traditional sports, the role of female leaders in shifting perceptions within sports media, and how digital sports media is transforming the broadcasting industry.

There will also be a permanent LaLiga lounge set up across the three days as well as the prestigious SPORTEL Awards ceremony on the Tuesday night.

The red carpet event will boast a plethora of sporting celebrities posing for photos before the ceremony gets underway and celebrates the most beautiful sports footage of the year.
